WebCTRL® system Integrations The Automated Logic® WebCTRL® open architecture and support for industry standards makes integration with third party mechanical and electrical building sub-systems easy. The WebCTRL system is capable of supporting multiple protocols over a TCP/IP network allowing many equipment items to be connected directly to the main WebCTRL backbone.

WebCTRL® Optimization Solutions: Chilled water system optimizer The Automated Logic® chilled water system optimizer is a sophisticated, scalable, native BACnet optimization solution for chilled water plants. The chilled water system optimizer minimizes the energy use of the entire chilled water system, up to and including air handling units and other water side chilled water consumers. By providing optimized control of the chilled water and condenser water setpoints, the chilled water system optimizer can lower energy costs while also maintaining occupant comfort levels in the building. The chilled water system optimizer solution consists of a self-adapting control algorithm packaged in an application specific Automated Logic controller.
WebCTRL® Optimization Solutions: PlantCTRL™ Chiller Plant Solution This factory-engineered, cutting-edge control solution offers algorithms designed to provide control over all aspects of a chiller plant, coordinating the control of chillers, pumps and towers into a finely tuned, cohesive system.

BACnet Routers and Gateways Notes
OptiFlex™ BACnet Router The OptiFlex router routes BACnet messages between the WebCTRL building automation system backbone (BACnet®/IP), and a subnetwork of WebCTRL controllers (BACnet MS/TP and/or BACnet ARCnet). It connects directly to the Ethernet LAN and provides the WebCTRL server with access to the entire WebCTRL system.
Equipment Portal Automated Logic’s Equipment Portal (EQ-PRTL) sets a new standard for integrating other manufacturers’ equipment into WebCTRL®. EQ-PRTL acts as a gateway to a single piece of equipment /device using proprietary or open protocols such as Modbus and LonWorks.
Up to 100 third-party points may be integrated using Equipment Portal.
LGR25 The LGR25 is a BACnet router and a protocol translator for integrating third-party points into your WebCTRL® system. The LGR25 is designed to support up to 25 Third Party points; that can connect hundreds of control modules to a BACnet®/IP backbone.
Supports BACnet®/IP, BACnet-over-Ethernet, ARCNET 156 kbps, MS/TP, and BACnet PTP communication standard.

Wireless Standard Sensor Set this sensor to detect temperature only or to detect both temperature and humidity, or connect a remote thermistor to monitor temperature in another location.

Automated Logic's New High Efficiency Chilled Water System Optimizer Helps Customers Save Energy The new WebCTRL chilled water system optimizer minimizes the energy use of the entire chilled water system in a commercial building, including air handling units, fan coils and other chilled water distribution equipment. Based on laboratory and field tests, energy savings in the range of 3-15%1 have been achieved, as compared to non-optimized systems.

1The optimizer algorithm was evaluated using modeling and computer driven simulations and tested in several field trial sites. Actual savings may vary depending on duration of use, plant size, equipment used, and the existing plant control strategy.
