ALC NY/NJ is Proud to Call Rutgers University a Customer
Starting in October 2002, with a single small project in Lipman Hall and a server, the Automated Logic building automation system at Rutgers University has grown into a system that currently includes installations in 33 buildings on 4 campuses.
At any given time, ALC NY/NJ is bidding for or performing multiple projects for Rutgers. ALC NY/NJ is currently installing a large system for a 500+/- bed, four building dormitory complex, and a system for a museum that requires us to work around very tight schedules and security. Completed projects range from a simple laundry room exhaust/ventilation system, to complex, stringently- controlled environments for laser and DNA research labs.
Automated Logic's WebCTRL® (pronounced Web Control) system architecture is ideal for any site with complex HVAC and lighting systems to manage... and it is perfect for a college campus. Automated Logic was one of the first vendors to become completely BACnet compliant, from controllers to software. ALC was also a pioneer in Web-based system architectures, and offers one of the most complete and reliable Web-based energy-management systems available.
ALC's WebCTRL® has a simple and intuitive interface that keeps Rutgers training needs to a minimum. A phone call or email to the ALC NY/NJ Service Center is usually all that is required to find out how to perform a system operation, or to assist with on-line troubleshooting.
In addition to these attributes, ALC NY/NJ customizes their service approach to suit Rutgers' needs. For example, Rutgers has a highly capable controls maintenance department that is adept at maintaining all BMS and trouble-shooting configuration activities involving their ALC system. ALC NY/NJ provides Rutgers with the information they need to service their ALC system along with the support they need for more difficult situations.
ALC NY/NJ is very proud to call Rutgers a customer and looks forward to serving their needs for many years to come.
