Scope
The Sales / Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for sales department activities, including supervising contracts, and managing client relations. This individual will assist the account executives prepare and deliver sales materials, organize and/or attend exhibits and other promotions. The Sales/ Marketing Coordinator will also maintain sub FTP files by uploading and downloading data, while developing marketing proposals and support materials.
Duties
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to demonstrate strengths in the following:
- Monitor records and reports – including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment – to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining and coordinating sub contractors files such as electrical trades.
- Prepare sales file for transfer to operations.
- Develop, prepare, and deliver sales materials, trade show exhibits, conference appearance, and other promotional programs.
- Assist V.P. of Sales in the development of strategic plans for the sales function; administer practices and procedures to enhance operations.
- Assist in annual budget planning; monitor expenditures throughout the fiscal year.
- Act as a liaison to other business units for completion of day-to-day administrative and operational issues.
- Provide input from sales department for the collaboration of strategic and tactical planning processes.
- Coordinate client events.

Qualifications
A successful candidate should possess some or all of the following qualifcations:
- Bachelor’s Degree or eqivalent
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, contract documents, control drawings, technical procedure manuals, and equipment specifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
- Experience in marketing management or consulting capacity
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of brand building and brand management
- Proven ability to prepare marketing proposals with a blend of focused research, strategy and creativity
- Superb writing, content development and editing skills
