Positions we frequently recruit for include Field Engineers, Field Technicians, Project Managers and Design Engineers. Below are brief descriptions of these positions and their responsibilities.   

1. Field Engineer: Responsible for overall field commissioning and supervision of all activities related to all ALC-Pittsburgh projects requiring construction and/or augmentation of any existing automation systems to support the implementation and installation of closed and/or potential sales. Provide leadership support and instruction for the Field Technicians for all of their assigned projects. Provide onsite technical support for subcontractors and customers when required.

2. Field Technician: Assist Project Executives, Project Managers, Sr. Field Engineers and/or Field Engineers in the overall field commissioning of all activities related to all ALC-Pittsburgh projects requiring construction and/or augmentation of any existing automation systems to support the implementation and installation of closed and/or potential sales. Provide commissioning support to the Sr. Field Engineers and/or Field Engineers for all of their assigned projects. Provide onsite technical support for subcontractors and customers when required.

3. Project Manager: Responsible for project management and supervision of all activities related to all ALC-Pittsburgh projects requiring construction and/or augmentation of any existing automation systems to support the implementation and installation of closed and/or potential sales. Provide leadership and management support for overall projects including coordination with internal corporate support organizations as well coordination with project General, Mechanical, Electrical contractors and customers as required to maintain a positive P&L (Profit and Loss) for all of their assigned projects.

4. Design Engineer: Responsible for design, programming and graphic implementation related to all ALC-Pittsburgh projects requiring construction and/or augmentation of any existing automation systems to support the implementation and installation of closed and / or potential sales. Provide support for other department Design Engineers as required insuring the successful completion and utilizing departmental standards to maximize design efficiency.
