Harvie Elementary School

The design of Harvie ES is based on solar orientation to maximize natural lighting potential throughout. Many of the materials used in construction have been selected to follow LEED specifications. These materials are either recycled or may be recycled in the future.

Automated Logic's Part: The main sources of heating, ventilation and air conditioning are provided by widespread control of both fan-powered and standard variable air volume terminal equipment with associated air handling units. The outside air, supply air and return air flows for these systems are carefully monitored and controlled with small changes in supply and return fan speeds to ensure proper ventilation and temperature/humidity conditions.
