What organizations do I know that use Automated Logic products?
United Parcel Service, Marriott, J.C. Penney, Charles Schwab, Lockheed Martin, The Pennsylvania State University, Purdue University, Target Stores, Cisco Systems, Aetna Insurance and Cornell University are just a few companies using ALC products.
What does Automated Logic (ALC) do?
Automated Logic designs, manufactures, installs and services hardware and software for Building Automation Systems (BAS). Our BAS, called WebCTRL®, provides web-based control and energy management capability for owners and operators of commercial building HVAC and lighting systems. WebCTRL is industry recognized for providing full functionality browser access from any intranet or Internet connection, and is certified by the BACnet Testing Laboratory (BTL) as BACnet Advanced Workstation Software (B-AWS).
Where are you located?
Our main headquarters are in Atlanta, Ga., U.S.A., with sales offices and local branches and dealerships located around the world.
How long has Automated Logic been in business?
Automated Logic was founded in 1977.
What kind of presence does Automated Logic have in the U.S.? Globally?
Automated Logic systems are used in commercial office buildings, health care institutions, educational facilities, critical mission facilities, government buildings, retail facilities, hospitality and entertainment facilities and industrial plants — in essence, many types of non-residential buildings in the U.S. and international markets. With over 150 authorized ALC branches and dealers, ALC enjoys a growing market share worldwide.
What types of companies are Automated Logic’s competition?
Given the wide range of markets Automated Logic serves, ALC competes with numerous manufacturers and other entities in a variety of HVAC, lighting and system integration applications. Please feel free to contact us directly for further information.
Can Automated Logic products be purchased directly?
Our products are distributed exclusively through a network of branches and authorized dealers worldwide — find a location near you.
Does Automated Logic sell or make standalone programmable logic controllers?
ALC manufactures standalone, microprocessor-based controllers that often perform the same functions as programmable logic controllers. Although each controller is "standalone", it is intended that they be networked using ASHRAE standard BACnet communications throughout a building, campus or global enterprise, and can be interconnected with other building control systems.
Does Automated Logic offer field sensing and control devices?
ALC maintains partnerships with a number of quality companies who manufacture sensors, actuators, valves and other products. We feel that as the end user, you should be able to choose the types of field devices you feel are best suited for your individual facility.
How can I find out which Automated Logic Field Office serves my area?
You can contact us by calling our corporate office at 770-429-3000, completing the short form found on the Contact Us page or visiting our Locations page. We will be glad to put you in touch with the branch or dealer in your area.
How much does a typical Automated Logic system cost?
ALC products are competitively priced; however, cost can vary greatly depending on the size and type of project. Several potential factors include: whether the system will be retrofitted to an existing facility or installed in new construction; whether the system will involve control at the individual zone level or simple control of the major pieces of equipment; and if there is a need to use specialized sensors for a certain application.
Since no two buildings are alike and the needs of each facility are different, there is no standard estimate for a typical system. The best approach for determining the cost of a system is to contact Automated Logic. We can put you in touch with one of our local representatives who can assist in creating a customized budget based on your needs.
What if I need technical support for Automated Logic products?
Technical support is provided by the highly qualified branches and dealers in the ALC Distribution network.
