New certified control sequence library for California projects.
Effective January 1, 2026, the California Energy Commission’s Title 24 (Part 6) JA18 requires validation of specific HVAC control sequences to ensure minimum energy performance. Automated Logic has released a dedicated new application library that includes pre-certified Title 24 JA18 control logic. This solution provides a clear, auditable path to compliance for new projects, helping to reduce the risk of delays and re-commissioning costs.

WebCTRL is a web-based, BACnet-based building automation platform that connects controllers, equipment, and applications through a single interface. It is designed to help facility teams manage, monitor, and optimize building operations across one building, a campus, or a multi-site portfolio.
WebCTRL provides point-and-click graphical navigation, scheduling, alarming, trending, and reporting from one common platform. These tools are designed to help facility managers understand building conditions quickly and support informed operational decisions.
WebCTRL is built on native BACnet controllers and offers a readily available library of APIs. The OptiFlex™ Virtual Integrator supports bringing in third-party equipment over BACnet IP, Modbus IP, and SNMP. This open approach is designed to help connect building systems, equipment, and enterprise applications through a common platform.
Yes. WebCTRL can be deployed on-premises, where you host and maintain the software, or as WebCTRL Cloud, where Automated Logic hosts, secures, and maintains the software for you.
WebCTRL supports BACnet Secure Connect (TLS v1.3) for encrypted network communications. With WebCTRL Cloud, BACnet Secure Connect and/or a VPN tunnel are used for server-to-network encryption. For on-premises systems, a third-party VPN is recommended for server-to-network encryption. These capabilities are designed to help protect building automation network communications and support enterprise security requirements.
WebCTRL includes built-in Fault Detection and Diagnostics (FDD) designed to help identify HVAC equipment issues and inefficiencies. An optional predictive analytics add-on is designed to help identify faults before they become larger issues.
WebCTRL supports building performance monitoring through dashboards, trending, reporting, and Fault Detection and Diagnostics. These tools are designed to help identify efficiency opportunities and support energy-management objectives.
Yes. WebCTRL supports ASHRAE Guideline 36-compliant control sequences designed to help deliver high-performance HVAC operations.
Automated Logic offers a dedicated application library that includes pre-certified Title 24 JA18 control logic, designed to help provide a clear, auditable path toward compliance for new projects. Compliance outcomes depend on project-specific application; see the Title 24 disclaimer.
With on-premises, you purchase the server hardware and software up front and your IT team manages maintenance and backups. WebCTRL Cloud is a subscription service in which Automated Logic pre-installs, hosts, and maintains the software.
