This is a staff position in our Control Systems Support group that is responsible for the technical support of all Carrier CCN & i-Vu Controls hardware and software products. Additional responsibilities include the testing of, documentation of, and training in the use of these products.
Required Skills
1. Strong understanding of the fundamentals of HVAC and control theory (Controls Application or Project Engineer).
2. Strong understanding of low voltage electrical wiring, meters, and oscilloscopes.
3. Excellent verbal and written skills.
4. Ability to review, and edit technical documentation for use with hardware and software products.
5. Field understanding of usability testing on Controls Products, similar to the experience a Controls Application or Project Engineer would have.
Duties
Preferred Skills
1. Ability to present technical information in a classroom setting.
2. Understanding of the fundamentals of TCP/IP and Networking.
3. Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, and Lon Works
4. Basic understanding of generating and executing test plans for functional testing.

Education
Must have a four year technical/engineering degree or equivalent.
