Field Technician

Scope
We currently have field technician positions available in both our operations and service departments.
Under general supervision, completes assigned point-to-point check-out, inspection, testing, commissioning. Supports Project Manager re-estimate of technical labor costs on assigned projects. This position requires a great commitment to quality through dedication and attention to detail.
Duties
Field technicians are responsible for the installation, start-up, and commissioning of building HVAC automation and management systems. This includes troubleshooting and verification of control system and wiring, and working closely with the Project Manager and subcontractors to ensure proper operation.
Service technicians are responsible for completing assigned commissioning, preventive maintenance, inspection, and testing, asd well as responding to basic service or warranty calls. This involves basic troubleshooting, inspection and testing of Facilities Management Systems. Problem diagnosis requires some software skills.
These positions require a dedication to providing the customer with innovative and superior building automation systems and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
At least one year experience of working with mechanical (HVAC) systems or related work experience. Technical understanding of building automation systems a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to properly represent Automated Logic-NY/NJ to customers and other outside contacts. Basic computer skills required, particularly Microsoft Office.
