Duties
Overall Objective: Utilize Automated Logic software package to complete all graphics, database generation and system programming for assigned projects. Projects included new construction, retrofit and service projects as assigned. Handles all aspects of the job, including project review, turnover, commissioning and job close out.
Qualifications
Analyzes plans, construction contracts, written proposals and specifications to determine programming and graphic requirements for projects. Responsible for organizing and maintaining the jobs programming database and updating pertinent job related information. Develop system database. This includes the following 1. Site graphics 2. Floor plan graphics 3. Unit graphics 4. Zone graphics 5. Monitoring graphics 6. Special graphics as required 7. Prepares database and job related programming for computer based systems as requested Commissioning of Projects. This includes the following: 1. Completes commissioning as required by the specification for the projects assigned. 2. Must be able to modify, adjust and develop software routines as necessary on site. 3. Prepares input/output commissioning sheets, which will be utilized for close out purposes. 4. Completes final critical adjustments and calibration on automation systems following installation and preliminary set up. 5. Make recommendations regarding changes, improvements or installation of automation system in the course of assignment. 6. Participates in job site final walk through. 7. Diagnosis or troubleshoot defects in sensors, field cabinets, or control console and determine corrective action. 8. Delivers technical support to end users and field labor when applicable. 9. Responds for emergency warranty and/or service calls as requested.. 10. Attends team meetings as requested 11. Uses VISIO / ACAD software and other associated software for assisting others with system design. 12. Must be able to utilize M.S.Word and M.S.Excel for project requirements and to aide in the assistance of others.
