Duties
A full‐time position in the construction department responsible for proper and efficient startup and commissioning of assigned jobs. This includes performing point to point checkout, completing equipment commissioning, downloading equipment software, performing field tuning and calibration. The System Analyst will work with installation personnel and contractors to ensure that DDC system installation is completed per ALC- VA Standards and any applicable building codes, while meeting the project schedule.
Qualifications
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Minimum 2-year technical degree or equivalent industry work experience and High School diploma.
- Possess strong problem solving skills.
- Possess strong communications skills, both oral and written.
- Proficient in the use of E-Mail, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other directly related software.
- Able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment in excess of 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.
- Possess and maintain valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
- Willingness to travel in excess of 50% of typical work week, including occasional overnight hotel stays, and unexpected travel
