Scope

Under general supervision, completes assigned point-to-point check-out, inspection, testing, commissioning. Supports Project Manager re-estimate of technical labor costs on assigned projects.  This position requires a great commitment to quality through dedication and attention to detail.

Duties

-Commission systems which utilize pneumatic / electrical / electronic technology as defined by the project specification or on retrofit projects while maintaining quality and ensuring customer satisfaction.

-Assist the Project Manager in the coordination and installation phases of assigned projects as required.  Reviews project submission package.

-Complete all required commissioning documentation.  Maintains accurate As-Built drawing package.

 -Communicates issues with Lead Tech/Project Manager on a daily basis.

 -Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment, such as multi-meters, decade boxes, network terminals and/or a laptop computer.

-Responsible for basic display creation / modification and updating of system graphics to servers / clients.

 -General knowledge of basic WebCTRL software functions (setup of alarms, trends, reports, schedules, user accounts).

 - Under general supervision, create, download, and troubleshoot basic HVAC system logic using WebCTRL and associated software.

-Responsible for setup of operator workstations with all associated software.

 -Perform end user customer training for basic projects.

 -Responsible for performing job database backups on a daily basis or as advised by the Project Manager.  Save job database on branch network at completion of the project.

-Completes paperwork on-time including time sheets, expense sheets, posting of service tickets and on-site documentation.

 -Keeps Project Manager informed on job progress. Keeps Project Manager and System Specialist Supervisor apprised of customer concerns and issues.

-Adheres to safety standards. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.

-Supporting site work force to enhance system installation timeliness.  (i.e. installation drawings, up to date plans, etc).  Will notify Project Manager of any discrepancies.

Qualifications

-2-5 years of experience working with mechanical HVAC systems on the service side

-High school diploma required; Associates/Bachelors degree in related field a plus

-Strong interpersonal skills are required to properly represent Automated Logic-NY/NJ to customers and other outside contacts

-Strong computer skills required, particularly Microsoft Office.

-ALC product knowledge and experience a plus
