Duties
A full-time position responsible for conducting point to point checkout of systems to ensure proper operation. This includes assisting the Project Manager or System Analyst in proper startup and commissioning of assigned jobs. The System Specialist will assist with completion of commissioning documentation, downloading control programs, performing software and hardware tuning and calibration, and maintaining as-built documentation.
Qualifications
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Minimum 2-year technical degree or equivalent industry work experience and High School diploma.
- Possess strong problem solving skills.
- Possess strong communications skills, both oral and written.
- Proficient in the use of E-Mail, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other directly related software.
- Able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment in excess of 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.
- Possess and maintain valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
- Willingness to travel in excess of 50% of typical work week, including occasional overnight hotel stays, and unexpected travel.
