Automated Logic Introduces TS8 Wi-Fi Thermostat for Seamless BAS Integration

Automated Logic today announced the new TS8 Wi-Fi communicating thermostat, delivering intuitive, in-space comfort control for occupants and designed for BACnet integration into the WebCTRL® building automation system (BAS). Many commercial buildings centrally manage core HVAC systems through a BAS, but smaller zones—such as offices, retail spaces, and classrooms—often still rely on standalone, non-communicating thermostats. The TS8 closes this gap by replacing those legacy thermostats with a BACnet Testing Laboratories (BTL)–certified solution that enables connection to existing HVAC equipment and integrates with compatible BAS platforms via BACnet/IP (Wi Fi® 2.4 GHz) or BACnet MS/TP. 

The TS8 thermostat features pre-configured application logic to support a wide range of equipment, including rooftop units, heat pumps, and fan coils, with flexible parameters to adapt to different applications. Installation and commissioning are designed to be streamlined with Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) for Wi Fi setup and screwdriver-free, spring-loaded connectors. Remote configuration is enabled through the Automated Logic Connect mobile app or web portal. 

A modern 4.3-inch color touchscreen provides occupants with simple, local control of space temperature, fan speed, and operating modes. At the same time, facility teams gain centralized visibility and control through the WebCTRL BAS, supporting building-wide optimization. The Automated Logic Connect app and web portal are designed to enable remote access to TS8 thermostats.
