Automated Logic Honors Top Performing Field Offices at Annual Distribution Meeting

KENNESAW, Ga. -

Automated Logic Corporation (ALC), a leading provider of innovative building automation systems, recognized top performing field offices at its annual distribution meeting in West Palm Beach, Florida. The annual meeting is attended by management and sales personnel from ALC’s branch offices and independent dealer network and includes educational sessions, networking opportunities and an awards banquet to recognize field offices for outstanding achievement. ALC is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

At the banquet, awards were given to dealers that reached various milestones such as service awards for length of time being a dealer with ALC, top sales and top growth awards, and various other achievements. The most prestigious awards were given for Project of the Year and Dealer of the Year.

Wisch & Jackson of Jupiter, Florida was recognized for Project of the Year. Wisch & Jackson installed the WebCTRL® building automation system to monitor and control heating, ventilating and air-conditioning equipment for the School District of Palm Beach County, the 10th largest school district in the nation. The project has 18,000 ALC controllers with 115,000 points covering 28 million sq. ft. The School District of Palm Beach County has been a dedicated ALC customer for 30 years.

Control Service Company (CSC), of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, was recognized as Dealer of the Year. They were chosen because of their superior field performance, excellent customer service, sustained yearly growth, and their engagement in the community. Since 1970, CSC has become known as a leading building automation, lighting and energy systems contractor in the Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas area.

Two other organizations were honored with notable awards. Carrier Hong Kong Limited was recognized with a President’s Award for their progress in developing business in their local region, and Trident Controls of Gray, Maine was recognized as Rookie of the Year for top performance as a new ALC dealer.

During the meeting, Automated Logic also announced that the WebCTRL v7 building automation system will be released this summer. This latest version has been enhanced with several new features including custom reporting tools, support for high definition graphics, and expanded Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD) capabilities to help building operators improve comfort, increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.

The meeting concluded with all attendees visiting the new UTC Center for Intelligent Buildings, a state-of-the-art innovation and technology experience center, and UTC Climate, Controls & Security’s new world headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. During the visit, Bob McDonough, president, UTC Climate, Controls & Security, welcomed ALC field offices and thanked them for their dedication to the ALC brand. The visit ended with an interactive tour that allowed them to see and touch the integrated offerings of advanced solutions from ALC and other UTC brands.
