WebCTRL® Building Automation System
The WebCTRL System for data center facilities skillfully maximizes uptime while facilitating the delivery
of PUE and adherence to strict environmental conditions set forth in a client Service Level Agreements
(SLAs). The WebCTRL system is easily deployed on your secure intranet and accessed through any standard
browser from a desktop, laptop, web-enabled cell phone or tablet computer, delivering a high degree of
precision and perfection in executing our work. From Time-Lapse™ graphics to Fault Detection and
Diagnostics, the WebCTRL system for data centers helps to ensure systems are operating at their peak
efficiency.
Industry Leading Data Visualization
Turn data into actionable information. From thermographic floor plans to the Energy Index tool to
Time-lapse™ Graphics, Automated Logic has been
a pioneer in providing visual data to help building owners and managers make smart decisions. And with
the WebCTRL system for data centers, we’re taking that leadership even further. The WebCTRL system
supports LDAP and hierarchal servers so that you can see and control your entire portfolio of facilities
in one system. It’s an intuitive tool that allows you to monitor your building and leverage data to save
on operating costs.

System and Location Audit Reporting
The WebCTRL system for data centers tracks and documents all procedural actions. Any attempted change to
the environmental control system prompts user verification, including the electronic recording of
“reason why”, in a secure audit log. To verify activity, system administrators can easily query the
system’s database by operator location.

Advanced Trending and Scatter Plots
Information is power, and Automated Logic gives you both with the delivery of a fully capable trending
tool. Trend all of the points in your system and have the full benefit of robust historical information.
With the WebCTRL system’s high speed architecture and distributed trending, all physical parameters –
temperature, relative humidity, dewpoint, CFM and pressure – can be historically trended and securely
stored. In addition, all environmental data, both current and historical, can be shown in tabular format
or graphically displayed with a mouse click.
Our scatter plot displays deliver a firsthand diagnostic perspective on your major equipment, allowing
you to assess system efficiency versus load to further optimize your operation.
With the ability to simply create graphs from data anywhere in the system, the operator has the immediate
ability to effectively analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot any aspect of their facility’s operations in
real time. That same capability provides the necessary backup and documentation to demonstrate your
operating effectiveness.
The frequency of trend sampling is controlled by the user. Operators can retrieve data by specifying
month/day/year, and historical trend data can be exported “on the fly” with a mouse click. For
additional data analysis, the WebCTRL system uses web services to interface with your enterprise or
analytics software.
Fault Detection & Diagnostics and Advanced Alarming
Measures, anticipates, provides insight, and automatically responds to system conditions that are not
necessarily critical, but may be trending that way – all with the goal of improved operational
performance.
Accessed through any standard browser, the WebCTRL system’s advanced alarm reporting and archiving tool
logs all authorized operators’ responses concerning alarm acknowledgement and follow-up action. Alarms
can be routed to local printers, network printers, external databases, email addresses and SNMP traps
simultaneously. Reporting data is securely stored on the WebCTRL system server for the time period
specified by the system administrator.
